What a Champ!

The past weekend the JAG Ladies Epic Team participated in the Attekwas MTB race. One of the tougest races on the MTN MTB Series calendar, 121km from Oudtshoorn to Groot Brak and 2800m of climbing!

Naomi Rothmann had a fantastic race and managed to secure a 1st Place in the Senior Ladies Category! Achieving her goal that she has been training so hard for! What a Champ!!!
Eulogy du Plessis managed to secure a 5th place in the Senior Ladies Category, just keeping an easy pace ;)

After a great December holiday doing lots of miles with smiles, it is back to the office for both of them...
Looking forward to weekends when they will be doing more long training rides, getting those legs ready for the ABSA Cape Epic!

DANCE 4 FUN(d)RAISING!

On Friday, the 3rd of December, we held a DANCE 4 FUN(d)RAISING at Opskop close to Stellenbosch!
Approximatly 180 guests/friends joined us for the evening! We were entertained by two bands - 'Spaarwater' and 'Frans se band' - and Creative Cuisine supplied us with delicious finger foods and snacks!

Around 09:00pm we kicked off our shoes and hit the dance floor!!!

The evening was a great success and we managed to raise R11 384.00!
We would like to thank everyone that joined us for the evening!

Currently the total amount raised is R30 984.00! Only R19 016.00 to go! :)

Three months has passed since the lauch of our fundraising project for the ABSA Cape Epic in aid of the JAG Sports and Education Foundation.

OUr main aim is to raise R50 000.00 for the Foundation and we are so proud to say that we have raised R16 200.00 up to date! We really want thank ALL our friends and family that have supported us up to this stage!

Naomi Rothmann & Eulogy du Plessis will be participating in the ABSA Cape Epic 2011 race and will be using this opportunity to raise funds for the JAG Sport and Education Foundation.
